SMP for Hairline Restoration

The most important element of the Scalp Micropigmentation baldness cure procedure is an appropriate face-framing hairline. The hairline is usually the focal point and considerations are taken into account in the design process such as head shape, former hairline, age appropriateness and the overall desired look wanted by the client.

Soft hairlines give a natural look to Scalp Micropigmentation and are best suited to those who wish for the result to be as undetectable as possible. The edge-up look is a fuller and straighter option offering that Fresh Friday defined hairline.

SMP for Men

If you have enough hair and are happy with the current hairline then there is a possibility I can fill it for you.  Scalp Micropigmentation is used to add density to thinning areas. I am able to add the illusion of hair to common areas like the top and back of crown.

This depends on a number of factors (density of existing hair, expectations, predictive hairloss, impressions cannot be placed outside of the existing hairline) and you will have to follow a few rules and cut your hair as directed. A consultation is highly recommended to review your options.

SMP for Hair Transplant and Scar Camoflague

Post hair transplant surgery blending is possible by replicating tiny hair follicles inside the scarring and blending the colour around the scarring area, transplanted grafts and surgical scars and massive improvement in concealment can be achieved.

For some clients, scalp incisions following cranial or cosmetic surgery may result in unique aesthetic problems. In some occasions the scars can be hidden with the surrounding hair or a particular hairstyle though most people want a more secure option. 

If you have had a surgical procedure, we need to allow at least 10-12 months for the incision, graft AND donor area to settle, grow and heal before treating this area.

Each case is individual so discussing this with myself will get the most out of your transplant procedure results.

SMP for Alopecia

For some clients, scalp incisions following cranial or cosmetic surgery may result in unique aesthetic problems. In some occasions the scars can be hidden with the surrounding hair or a particular hairstyle though most people want a more secure option. 

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a beautiful option as a non-surgical cosmetic solution to these particular scars. The healed scar tissue will have a different texture and colour that will prohibit a complete disguise but SMP will significantly camouflage the lines and give a greater sense of confidence when changing up your hairstyle and for day-to-day wear. 

Clients must wait 10-12 months after surgery to ensure a complete heal before an SMP treatment.

SMP for Beards

Facial or Beard SMP can be used to treat patchiness and thinning beard hair. If your man mane is greying due to age, SMP can help thicken your beard by giving some darker roots to the greying hair or just filling and blending in some of the patchiness.

While this treatment isn’t for everyone, it is excellent for men who have always sported facial fuzz or at the very least a permanent 5 o’clock shadow and will continue to do so for years to come. There is a new terminology floating around out there and they called it Facial Micropigmentation #FMP .. it’s the same same.
